Nestled in a region of gently rolling Piedmont Plateau hills, rural Fluvanna County is approximately 25 miles east of Charlottesville. James River forms the county\u2019s southern boundary, providing beautiful riverfront landscapes as well as fishing and boating opportunities. The unincorporated community of Troy is situated just west of US Route 15 between Zion Crossroads to the north and Palmyra to the south.
