William Penn preached here and Lord Baltimore attended services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Underground Railroad <\/strong><br \/>\nCambridge, MD<br \/>\n410-820-8350<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/harriettubmanbyway.org\/harriet-tubman-museum\">http:\/\/harriettubmanbyway.org\/harriet-tubman-museum<\/a><br \/>\nThe Brodess Plantation is the birthplace of Harriet Tubman, founder of the Underground Railroad used by slaves during the Civil War.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taylors Island<br \/>\n<\/strong>Route 16<br \/>\nEvidence of the county\u2019s earliest settlements can be found here, including 16th century churches and schoolhouse.
