The adjacent cities of Annetta, Annetta North, and Annetta South represent a growing residential community of approximately 3,000 total residents. For most of the 20th century, the Annetta area was characterized as a population center that provided education and churches to the farmers and their families who lived in the surrounding countryside. The small town of Reno is located along Farm Road 1542 on the outskirts of Fort Worth, about 18 miles northeast of Weatherford in the northwestern corner of Parker County.
