Located along the Historic Albemarle Highway (US Highway 17), Perquimans County is less than one hour from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. This historic Inner Banks community draws newcomers and visitors to a picturesque waterfront environment and the relaxed pace of a simpler time.
