To be eligible to vote you must be at least 18 years old by the day after the election. You must also be a United States citizen at least 30 days prior to registration, and a resident of your election district at least 30 days prior to the election in order to cast your vote. Absentee ballot applications are available at courthouses. Call your local county board of elections for further information on obtaining an application.<\/p>\n

You may register to vote at the courthouse of the county in which you reside. Bring proof of age (driver\u2019s license or birth certificate) and proof of residency (rental agreement or home sales agreement). It is also possible to register by mail at your local municipal office or the United States Post Office. For more information, call the voter registration office in your county:
