TAX & LICENSE \/ VOTER RESOURCES<\/strong><\/p>\n

Any U.S. citizen who will be at least 18 years of age prior to the general election can register to vote. Missouri also requires that voters be residents of their precinct for at least 20 days. The cut-off date for voter registration is 29 days prior to an election. Registration is free of charge and permanent unless you change political parties, your name, or address. In those cases, you must re-register. In Missouri, mail-in registration is available only to those who are unable to travel to a registration center. Conveniently located registration centers are located throughout the state, although new residents can also register to vote at the same time they obtain a Missouri driver license.
