The district is part of the  Barrio Libre, the oldest of the city&#8217;s residential areas. Cushing Street Bar,  catering to Tucson residents for more than 100 years, proudly displays  photographs of the original neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pie Allen Neighborhood<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>South of 6th Street between Park Avenue and 6th Avenue<\/em><br \/>\nAnglo Territorial, Sonoran adobe , and Revival styles dominate the  housing in this historic district, named for an apple pie salesman with the  nickname of Pie Allen.
