TAX & LICENSE / VOTER RESOURCES

Newcomers to Illinois are eligible for voter registration if they will be at least 18 years of age by election day, are a U.S. citizen in good standing, and have been resident of the precinct for at least 30 days. You may register year-round except during the 27-day period prior to an election or two days after the election. Registration is available in a wide variety of locations including Motor Vehicle branches. You will need two forms of identification, one with your current address.
