Voter Registration
Newcomers are urged to register to vote in Oklahoma, and must do so 30 days prior to the election. You must be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the general election, be a U.S. citizen and a resident of Oklahoma for at least 30 days prior to the election. Those who are 18 years old on or before November 2 may vote in the primary election for candidates but not on issues. Options for registration are many, including any county board of elections, public schools and libraries, motor vehicle offices, or by mail.
