Oregon State Registration
State law mandates that every child who has turned five years of age by September 1st must attend kindergarten. Parents who have an interest in early enrollment can consult with their local school district. The law also requires that school-age children complete immunizations including measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, tetanus, and Hib. Protection against polio is also required and usually administered by drops in the mouth.

Necessary documentation for registration include an official birth certificate, proof of residency, and transcripts from the school previously attended if possible.
