Tiny Gallatin County is a pearl along the string of communities in Northern Kentucky that are closely associated with Greater Cincinnati. Situated between interstate highways that connect Cincinnati in Ohio and Louisville and Lexington in Kentucky, Gallatin County nestles along the fertile banks of the rolling Ohio River. The smallest of Kentucky’s counties, Gallatin offers easy access to a world of suburban and urban amenities in surrounding cities and towns.

State-of-the-art healthcare services are available at Carroll County Hospital in Carrollton and St. Luke Hospital West in Florence, and both are available within a 25-minute drive. The St. Luke Hospitals were the first to open a Regional Vascular Institute and Center for Breast Health in the area. Providing sophisticated technology and a caring, compassionate staff, St. Luke is exceptionally well-suited to care for women’s needs in addition to its comprehensive array of specialized medical and surgical services.

Students of all ages can access quality educational opportunities in Gallatin County, where new-school construction is keeping pace with a growing population. The county is ideally located within a reasonable commuting distance from a number of colleges and universities in Kentucky and Ohio. Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights offers a wide selection of degree programs including law degrees through the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Thomas More College in Crestview Hills is a small Roman Catholic liberal arts college with a national reputation. Those who are looking for an affordable start on a four-year degree, two-year degrees or certifications, or continuing education will appreciate the well-developed resources and multiple campuses for Gateway Community and Technical College. Cincinnati Technical and Community College is less than 40 miles away, which is also true for the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University. The University of Kentucky is approximately 60 miles from home in Lexington, Kentucky.

The rural gem of Gallatin County has been experiencing a period of rapid growth in recent years, drawing newcomers to a panoramic landscape of scenic rivers, picturesque country roads, and quaint communities. Easy access to Interstate 71 and other major thoroughfares ensures quick commutes to regional destinations. The focal point of the county and the seat of government is the riverfront city of Warsaw, also home to the network of public schools within the Gallatin County School District. Nestled along the banks of the Ohio River between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Lexington, Kentucky, Warsaw serves as the seat of Gallatin County government. Distinguished as the county’s most developed community, the Warsaw area has welcomed most of the growing residential development that has marked this region in recent years.
