TRANSPORTATION / HIGHWAY TRAVEL

Interstate 95 travels along the expanse of Connecticut’s Long Island Sound shoreline, providing a direct link to all points within the state as well as New York, Boston, or Providence, RI. Interstate 84 heads north from New Haven (I-95 interchange) through Hartford, linking with the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) north of Springfield, MA.

The Merritt Parkway provides yet another regional thoroughfare: State Route 15 links with New York State’s Hutchinson River Parkway at Greenwich and becomes the Wilbur Cross Parkway near Bridgeport, connecting with Interstate 91 at Meriden.
