Drivers License
New residents have 60 days to obtain a New Hampshire license. It will be necessary to pass the written test, eye exam, and road test to receive a New Hampshire license. All applicants must present three forms of identification that confirm date of birth, state residency, and your photo/signature. The application form will also require your social security number. Vehicle Registration
In New Hampshire the Division of Motor Vehicles appoints agents who are municipal officials to handle the issuing, renewal, and transfer of vehicle registrations. New Hampshire requires new residents to register and title all vehicles within 60 days. Bring the vehicle you want to register along with proof of ownership (title or bill of sale), out-of-state registration, proof of residency, lease agreements or any applicable lien holder information.
