Located in the community of San Angelo, Goodfellow Air Force Base is home to the 17th Training Wing including groups, squadrons, specialized staff agencies and separate tenant units that produce some of the most well-trained service people in the world. Military personnel and their families enjoy access to the quality resources and attractions within San Angelo, including historic Fort Concho, parks and lakes, and exceptional cultural venues. Park University operates a base campus, but Angelo State University also provides scholarships to active-duty military for zero-cost higher education opportunities.
