The South Florida environment is a year-round sub-tropical paradise. Temperatures range from an average low in January of 59 degrees to an average high in August of 89 degrees Fahrenheit. Sunscreen is a necessity if you plan to spend time outdoors. South Florida averages more than 250 days of sunshine each year. Summers tend to be hot with substantial humidity ranging from 55-60 percent for inland communities and 65-70 percent for areas along the coast. Evening showers and ocean breezes temper the humidity.
