Interstate 10 is the major regional artery, connecting Tucson to Phoenix and points in New Mexico. Interstate 19 originates in Tucson and runs southward to Nogales, Mexico. Within Tucson, numbered streets run east/west to the south of Speedway Boulevard. Numbered avenues run north/south to the west of Euclid Avenue.
