TAX & LICENSE / PET LICENSING

In most municipalities and counties, pet owners must license their dogs and cats (as well as ferrets in some locations) that are at least four months of age. When licensing via the mail, include a copy of the most recent rabies vaccination verification and sterilization certificate if the pet is spayed or neutered. All forms must be signed by a licensed veterinarian. For specific on fees and pet license regulations, contact the animal control officer in your municipality or the county office if you reside in an unincorporated area.
