One of America’s favorite vacation spots, Lake Tahoe in the Carson/Tahoe region offers a kaleidoscope of outdoor sports and activities. Wonderful beaches offer a boat launch, picnic areas, lakefront views and more secluded access to its shores. Spooner Lake is perfect for hiking, picnicking, mountain biking, fishing, and cross-country skiing. The back-country between Lake Tahoe and Carson City provides miles of multi-purpose trails for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
