DEMOGRAPHICS / CLIMATE
The climate of “Kentuckiana” and Central Kentucky is characterized by warm or hot summers and cool winters. Four beautiful, relatively mild, and distinct seasons create a kaleidoscope of changing scenery. Throughout the year, temperatures do not vary greatly from place to place. Temperatures below freezing are common throughout the state during winter, although extended periods of very cold weather do not occur every year. Precipitation tends to be dependable and evenly distributed throughout the seasons.
