Beaver Dam Community Hospital is continually upgrading, expanding, and improving both its hospital-based and community services. Waupun Memorial Hospital is based in the community of Waupan, which straddles Dodge and Fond du Lac counties. Watertown Area Health Services, of which Watertown Memorial Hospital is a part, provides another important healthcare system for residents of Dodge County. Combining the intimacy of a small-town atmosphere with convenient amenities, the small but well-developed city of Horicon is situated on the southern edge of Horicon Marsh. As a rich habitat for bird migration, the marsh narrows to become the rolling Rock River.
