Two Alegent Health Wellness Centers offer memberships to the public, providing therapeutic programs as well as fitness programs and classes. The Family Resource Centers associated with Methodist Health System Center provide free health information to the public through a lending library, online computer searches, customized health information packets, and community outreach. The national 55PLUS program through Methodist Health combines educational programs with social and travel events, and YMCA fitness benefits.
