Minnesota Registration
Those who meet specified requirements are eligible to register to vote: You must be at least 18 years of age, a U.S. citizen, a Minnesota resident for at least 20 days prior to the election, and a citizen in good legal standing. Complete a voter registration card, available in many public buildings throughout the state, or download and print a copy online at the Minnesota Secretary of State website. You may also register to vote at the time that you apply for or renew your Minnesota driver license or state identification card. It is possible to register at your polling place on election day, but you will need to being proof of residency. Wisconsin Registration
Newcomers who wish to register to vote in Wisconsin can visit their municipal clerk’s office before the election or register at their polling place on election day. To register at the polling place, you will need proper identification including proof of your address. You must be a U.S. citizen who has lived in the state for at least 10 days and at least 18 years old on or before the election day. The website for the State Elections Board offers a downloadable and printable application for voter registration that can be mailed to your municipal clerk. In Wisconsin, not all municipalities require prior registration to vote. Poll workers record the names and addresses of voters at those locations.
