TAX & LICENSE / VOTER REGISTRATION

To vote in federal, state and county elections in either West Virginia or Maryland, the following requirements must be met:
•           You must be at least 18 years old
•           You must be a U.S. citizen
•           You must be a resident of the state in which you are voting
Registration is permitted up to 29 days before an election and can be accomplished at the election office in your county. Registration is permanent as long as you continue to live within the jurisdiction, keep your address current with the election board, and do not allow five years to lapse without voting.
