TAX & LICENSE / FISHING & HUNTING LICENSES

Michigan claims more hunters than any state in the nation. The fees for hunting permits are determined by residency status and game. Fishing licenses are also required for residents and non-residents who are at least 16 years of age, and short-term licenses are available. When hunting or fishing, you must carry the license and the identification used to purchase the license.
