The park’s expansive 24,000 acres offer outstanding opportunities for outdoor adventure with facilities that include a boat launch ramp, camp sites, fishing areas, three small lakes, hiking trails, hunting areas in season, nature preserves, marked trails, picnic areas, and youth tent areas. Located between Martinsville and Bloomington, the forest is filled with steep ridges and valleys and supports some of the state’s finest hardwoods.
