TAX AND LICENSE / HUNTING & FISHING LICENSE

Both Illinois and Indiana require a license to hunt or fish, although youngsters who are under 16 years of age (under 17 years of age in Indiana) can fish without a license when accompanied by a licensed adult. Fees depend upon residency status and the type of license desired. Licenses can be purchased at a variety of retail locations, although some special licenses are available only at regional offices.
