TAX & LICENSE / PET LICENSING

All dogs over three months of age are required to have an animal license in Pittsburgh and pet licensing is required throughout Allegheny County. Licenses are good until January of the following year, with fees being slightly lower for spayed or neutered animals. The dog license registration form must be returned to your county treasurer. Registration forms can be printed out from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania website, or you can submit a written request for an application:
