Just 55 miles south of Fort Worth and 35 miles north of Waco, the rural expanse of Hill County is anchored by the county seat of Hillsboro and bordered by the Brazos River to the west. Hillsboro is home to Hill College, a comprehensive two-year institution that enjoys an expansive 100-acre campus. Texas State Technical College and Baylor University in Waco are both within a 30-mile commute. Within an hour’s drive are such leading institutions of higher education as the University of Texas in Arlington, Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, and Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
