Industry, business, and residential sectors enjoy outstanding transportation facilities, underlined by the presence of Interstate 64 through the heart of the city. Two international airports are available within a 30-minute drive. Daily passenger train service to Newport News is available from Amtrak, which also provides connections to other northeastern destinations.

Boasting programs and teachers that have been honored on state and national levels, Hampton public schools create a rich educational environment. Computer instruction is an ongoing commitment, with a computers available on every grade level.
